Early this year during a a very festive event I had the chance to play a game of horseshoes with some friends. When the game started, I thought it would be just another game, no more or less then the games I've played in the past.
As the game got started and progressed into a full out right battle, I started to realize throwing this metal U shape object became even more difficult to manage. By the end of the game I was completely exhausted. My opponent and I were all tied up with a score of 20 all. Due to my exhaustion I missed a vault which caused me to lose the game.
Overall I enjoyed the game and had a wonderful day. I suggest that anyone having a picnic with their family should play a game of horseshoes.

Fishing
One of the greatest things about being a dad is taking your kids fishing. Today was a great day for such a wonderful activity. Clearly I was mis-lead about me getting sometime in to throw my rod in the water. As my father said to me long ago you really just become the "Net Boy" for your kids. I wish more dad's spent time fishing with their kids this would really be a great gift for them to remember when they become adults.
